Barbara Child

IDSF Adjudicator/Fellow of the ISTD & CDF

Originally from London, England, Barbara Child competed in the European circuit before moving to Vancouver.  She has been a full time coach for dancers of all levels for over 25 years.  She is an Examiner for the CDF, as well as training those studying for Professional exams.  She is an experienced Adjudicator and has been Chairman for numerous competitions including the Canadian Amateur & Professional Championships.  With her extensive experience, she is widely sought after for private coaching, choreography and group classes.  Besides International-Style Ballroom dance, she also teaches West Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Rock'n Roll, Salsa and Mambo.
